Leatherique restoration

I received my leatherique kit today from www.properautocare.com. These guys had the best price on the web; much better than autogeek.net. Their shipping rates were better, too.

side note: Why does autogeek always whore you on the shipping?

Anyway, I started on the headrests and rear side bolsters. They had the most sun damage, and were starting to be like cardboard on the very tops. I rubbed in a bunch around 8pm, and put them in garbage bags. I'll leave them there in front of the windows to cook tomorrow, before re-applying when I get home from work.

I was hoping to get them in front of the sun earlier today, but UPSFAIL, as usual.

sidenote: The new terry crews old spice commercials are a fucking marvel of advertising. I don't even think Don Draper could have thought of something so badass.

Moving along, I just did my gearshift after playing some Army of Two with Crec. We beat it, and it has the most horrible ending ever. I was seriously distraught about it.

The gearshift knob is looking good, though. There was a whole discolored part on the backside of the knob. I used the brush on it, and it looks like it was dead ass skin cells. Grahss. I gave it a shot of the leatherique, and we'll see how it turns out.

I did the leatherique about 4 years ago on most of the interior, and the results from the steering wheel was one of the most foul things ever. The towel just came out black.

I'll post some before pics of the shift knob from my phone.
